Many years ago, a friend contacted me and asked if I wanted to go catch a band, who were reforming for a one-off show almost a decade after their breakup. The group were from a tiny town in Ireland, and initially all but unknown outside their friends and family, but they did eventually manage to make waves locally before dissolving when their drummer - and main songwriter - immigrated for pastures new in the States...
