| Irishman James Houlihan Helps Fordham Baseball Honor Alumni

 James J. Houlihan with Fordham University President Fr. Joseph McShane Prominent Fordham alumnus and Houlihan Parnes Realty LLC partner James J. Houlihan has been presented with a token of appreciation from Fordham University President Fr. Joseph McShane, SJ, at Houlihan Park at Jack Coffey Field last Saturday,  on Fordham's Rose Hill Campus. 
 Thanks to Houlihan, Fordham baseball saluted such legendary names as 'The Fordham Flash' Frankie Frisch, iconic Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully, famed owner of the Brooklyn Dodgers Walter O'Malley and Esteban Bellan, the first Latin player to wear a major league uniform, on Saturday. 
 The prominent Fordham alumnus from Bronxville, and head baseball coach Kevin Leighton, a Brewster native, hosted 'Baseball Alumni & Hall of Fame Plaque Day.'  
 Plaques of Scully, Frisch, Bellan, Dan Gallagher, Jack Coffey, John Kieran and Ed Walsh - all enshrined in various Halls of Fame - were unveiled at the dedication ceremony prior to the Fordham vs. George Washington game.  
 A recording of Scully's dulcet tones welcoming fans to all home games was played over the public address system: "And now, it's time for Fordham Baseball," exclaims Scully.
 Fordham is the oldest and winningest Division I College Baseball program, having begun intercollegiate play in 1859, with more than 4,000 victories to its credit in its 154 history.
