Do The Democrats And The MSM Think All Women Are Stupid?
Rush made an error in judgment for which he has apologized - but the liberals have seized upon his gaffe as a way to demonize all who have objections to government funding of contraceptives as enemies of women.

According to Rochelle Riley at the Detroit News, Rush Limbaugh is the 21st Century foolish bigot.
In her article by that headline she basically calls Limbaugh a terrorist and says, "The danger is clear: As Limbaugh and others continue to push hate, we are turning the rift between Americans into a fault line. And all Americans will be hurt by it."
I read her entire article checking to see if she named any other remarks by misogynists like Bill Maher, Ed Schultz, or Imus.
Alas no. Ms. Riley is just part of the media blitz to push the economic crisis aside and replace it with the issue of birth control.
We women are supposed to fall for this tactic and according to some polls; many of us will do so.
I don't agree with the words Rush Limbaugh used to denigrate the Georgetown coed, Sandra Fluke, - although I did at first.
Then I actually read the transcript of Ms. Fluke's testimony before Congress and while it was typical liberal tripe demanding government entitlement for all, she did not mention anything about her personal sex life so she should not have been linked with sluts and prostitutes.
Rush made an error in judgment for which he has apologized - but the liberals have seized upon his gaffe as a way to demonize all who have objections to government funding of contraceptives as enemies of women.
Perennial feminist gadfly Gloria Allred is pushing for an investigation to have Limbaugh arrested.
Note: This woman vies with NY Senator Chuck Schumer for most annoying publicity hound.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton weighed in with the issue at the Women of the World summit praising Ms. Fluke as one of the brave women changing the world.
She then said to great applause, "They want to control women. They want to control how we dress, they want to control how we act, they even want to control the decisions we make about our own health and bodies."
No, she wasn't talking about radical Muslims but right wing "extremists" and what a lot of hooey that is.
It has come to light that Ms. Fluke is being funded and squired around to the media by a PR firm run by Obama's former communication director, Anita Dunn. What a shock!
Rush Limbaugh has replaced the Roman Catholic Church as the bogeyman of women's rights and is an easier target.
I happen to be a practicing Catholic who used birth control because natural birth control did not work for me but I first received permission from my priest for the barrier type of contraceptive.
What activists like Ms. Fluke will not address is the inherent danger of the other forms of contraceptives that are ingested or injected into women's bodies.
Oral contraceptives are prescription drugs that can have severe and deadly side effects such as increased risk of stroke (particularly for smokers); cervical , and breast cancer.
IUDs (intrauterine device) can cause excessive bleeding during menstruation.
The newer one - the Nuvaring - also has the risk of vaginal infection and irritation.
Then there are oval patches that deliver a continuous amount of two hormones, estrogen and progestin, through the skin and into the blood stream.
Cervical caps and gels all insert chemicals into the body and none of these methods prevent sexual transmitted diseases.
The best method of birth control is abstinence but it will never be recommended by militant activists like Ms. Fluke.
It's ironic that so many of these women who rant about the threat to reproductive rights are also health nuts and vegans who nonetheless ignore the potentially deadly chemicals contained in contraceptive devices.
As for the current brouhaha, Obama advisor, David Axelrod, recently asserted that Rush Limbaugh had slandered all American women with his remarks and when he was asked what about misogynist remarks by liberals, he said Rush was "the de facto leader of the Republican Party."
Actually David, Rush Limbaugh isn't the leader of any party but he is a diehard conservative who rails against Republicans who aren't.
Some of his listeners may be diehard dittoheads but most of those who listen to him do so because he is a font of information with facts that confirm their own opinions.
You will not hear from them because they don't wish to wait 3 hours to get through to the Rush show.
An all-out effort is being made to label Limbaugh as an ineffective talk-show host but I've never felt that he was - otherwise neither Clinton nor Obama would have been elected.
Mark Levin is a much more caustic conservative but rarely lands within the liberal radar and thus we can only conclude that Limbaugh is the designated whipping boy for the leftwing.
Levin is a much more dangerous opponent because he is a very cerebral, constitutional jurist while Limbaugh tends to be more entertaining.
His parodies are quite enjoyable unless you're a Marxist.
This entire Limbaugh flap and the healthcare mandate targeting the Catholic Church is a huge ruse disguised as a women's issue.
The Democrat National Committee is sending out a million mailers touting the Obama Healthcare scam and insisting that women will benefit from it.
The Democrats and the mainstream media (MSM) hope that women are stupid enough to believe that birth control is the most important issue facing the country today.
What?? It isn't high unemployment. It isn't rising gas prices or inflation. It isn't the war in Afghanistan and the growth of radical jihadists threatening our national security.
It isn't the corruption in the justice department that allowed the fast and furious gun sales by our government that killed 71 people including a U.S. border patrol agent, Brian Terry.
Nope, we dumb women must be more concerned with who's paying for our birth control.
I was really hoping that the soccer Moms who voted for Barack Obama in 2008 would finally wake up once they discovered what he and his minions are doing to our country. But if they once again fall for this travesty then stupid is the epithet they deserve.
