Craic To Hold 1st Annual Gay And Lesbian Film Festival During Pride Week

Galway Fleadh award winner Dream Kitchen will be just one of the films shown at the 1st Annual Craic Gay and Lesbian Film Festival on June 24th

The 1st annual Craic Gay And Lesbian Film Festival (CGLFF) is scheduled for Friday, June 24th at the Irish Arts Center (553 West 51st Street) during PRIDE week in Manhattan.

The CGLFF is a one-night festival of films by Irish gay and lesbian filmmakers based in the New York City area well as award winning short films from Ireland.

The program will be a combination of short documentaries and live action comedy shorts.

The evening will begin with a reception from 6:30-8pm.

The films runs from 8-9:30pm.

There will be Complimentary Tullamore Dew at the reception where special guests scheduled to attend include New York City Council Speaker Christine C. Quinn, Councilman Daniel Dromm and Councilman Jimmy Van Bramer.

The festival is presented by Tullamore Dew with additional support from Councilman Jimmy Van Bramer and Councilman Daniel Dromm.

Among the award winning short films from Ireland are Dream Kitchen and Chicken (Galway Fleadh award winners).

Entry to the event is free though there is a suggested donation at the door.
