Celtic kept themselves in the hunt for the Scottish title last weekend with a fine come-from-behind victory over Hibs at Parkhead.
Robbie Keane scored the opener, with a tap-in after four minutes, but Hibs responded almost immediately, Derek Riordan firing one into the net from long range just two minutes later.
Hibs took the lead when, in the 54th minute, defender Josh Thompson brought down Stokes in the penalty area. The referee, Stephen Finnie did not hesitate, immediately pointing to the spot, from which Stokes poked the ball past Boruc.
Celtic equalized in the 80th minute, when McGeady wafted a ball over from the left which Robbie Keane missed but Marc-Antoine Fortune did manage to get on the end of, slotting it past Hibs' keeper.
Rasmussen completed the Celtic comeback in the 77th minute when he got on the end of a cross from Fortune and deflected it past the helpless Graham Stack, ensuring all three points for Celtic and delaying Rangers' title celebrations.
Last week, former Celtic striker Çharlie Nicholas came out swinging and criticized majority shareholder Dermot Desmond, saying that the current squad was the worst that he had ever seen and accusing both him and the board of treating the club like "a toy" and slamming them for underinvesting in players.
Defending Desmond was interim Celtic manager Neil Lennon who fired back that, "I've been here 10 years and I've never seen Charlie Nicholas walk in through the door.
"So what Charlie knows about this club I do not know."
"If he's criticising Dermot about Dermot's input into this club then he hasn't got a clue what he's talking about.
"I'm really annoyed that I have to give somebody like Charlie, who does nothing but bang away at Scottish football and Celtic, any press time at all; it irks me."
On Monday evening, Scottish Football Association Chief Executive Gordon Smith stepped down from his post for personal reasons.
The former Rangers striker, who had been in the job since 2007, released a statement saying simply: "Gordon Smith has resigned from his post as chief executive. A further statement will be issued tomorrow."
