More Funding For Irish And International NGOs

The Irish government announced on Sunday that they would provide Irish Aid funding of almost €10m in support of 41 projects in 31 developing countries.

The grants, approved under Irish Aid's Civil Society Fund, will support the development work of 23 Irish and 8 international Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs).

Making the announcement, The Minister for State for Overseas Development Peter Power T.D., said: "Support for NGOs' development work is central to Irish Aid's efforts to reduce global poverty."
