Arsenal Stumble Against Bolton Wanderers' Jinx Again

Luton Town 0 Blackburn Rovers 4

In the early game on Saturday Blackburn were the first team to book their place in the last 16, with an easy 4-0 win over Luton at Kenilworth Road. Matt Derbyshire, who got a new contract at Rovers last week, opened the scoring - and he set up a simple second for Benni McCarthy before half-time. Derbyshire then headed in his second, and the scoring was wrapped up by a great left-foot strike from Morten Gamst Pedersen.

Manchester United 2 Portsmouth 1

Wayne Rooney came off the bench to secure Utd's name in the 5th round draw as they beat Pompey 2-1 at Old Trafford. Rooney scored twice in the space of seven minutes to put United in the driving seat. Kanu pulled a goal back for the visitors with three minutes remaining, but they ran out of time in their bid to take the tie to a replay.

Bristol City 2 Middlesbrough 2

A second-half comeback saw City earn a 2-2 draw to set up an FA Cup 4th round replay at The Riverside. Boro grabbed an early lead at Ashton Gate when Adriano Basso didn't hold Stewart Downing's shot and Aiyegbeni Yakubu thumped in the rebound. Malcolm Christie added a second for the Teessiders after 22 minutes, from a James Morrison pass. Richard Keogh pulled one back for the hosts in the 53rd minute and a great strike from Scott Murray set up the replay.

Fulham 3 Stoke City 0

The Cottagers came through as comfortable 3-0 winners against Championship side Stoke. Vincenzo Montella scored from close range in the 11th minute after the Potters failed to clear a corner. Brian McBride volleyed in a second seven minutes before half-time and the Cottagers made sure of victory with a third from Tomasz Radzinski.

Tottenham Hotspur 3 Southend United 1

Spurs completed a comfortable 3-1 win at White Hart Lane. Robbie Keane's 12th-minute strike gave them an early lead and the second came when Jermaine Jenas turned in Aaron Lennon's cross from close range five minutes into the second half. Freddy Eastwood's penalty gave the Shrimpers hope but Mido added a third to kill them off.

Birmingham City 2 Reading 3

At St Andrews, the Royals went ahead in the third minute when Dave Kitson's shot beat Maik Taylor. Leroy Litas second after 40 minutes put Steve Coppell's men in control but a magic strike from Martin Taylor in the 47th minute brought the hosts back into it. However, Lita's second ensured the Berkshire side went through despite Sebastian Larsson's late free-kick.

Watford eliminated last season's FA Cup finalists West Ham, Anthony McNamee with the only goal at Upton Park.

Zoltan Gera killed off any prospect of a comeback when he added Albion's third in the 78th minute after good work by Jason Koumas.

Chelsea 3 Nottingham Forest 0

At Stamford Bridge, Chelsea eased into the fifth round. Forest fell behind after just nine minutes when Andriy Shevchenko's close-range shot was deflected past keeper Paul Jones by defender John Curtis. Didier Drogba made it 2-0 on 18 minutes when he lifted a curling 20-yard free-kick over the wall and past Jones. Forest conceded a third on the stroke of half-time, when Frank Lampard's corner ricocheted around in the box and John Obi Mikel stabbed home from close range.
