            Now 29, Barry has toured Germany and Russia extensively as well as performing dozens
            of tours and festivals in the U.S. and Ireland building a real and loyal fan base.
            Barry has appeared on TV and Radio shows around Europe and the US including
            Russian National TV (Channel 1), Fox 5 NY, CNBC NY, BBC, BBC Radio 1, RTE TV and
            radio, TV3 and TG4 amongst others.
            Barry has recorded with the likes of Freddie White ,Pat Crowley,Christian Best,Wayne
            Sheehy, Hugh Dillon and Sam Clauge amongst other great musicians.Barry also plays
            saxophone, but vocals and guitar are his first instruments.
            In 2011 Barry won the IMRO sponsored Sean McCarthy Memorial Ballad Writing Contest
            with his song ‘A Night in the Grave Yard’. In October 2014 Barry released his debut com-
            mercial album ‘Hotel Alamar’ to critical acclaim reaching No. 7 in the main iTunes
            album chart and No.1 in the Alternative music chart.
            The album was played and reviewed by the national broadcaster and received accolades
            such as ‘The album of the week’ on Eurovision winner Charlie McGettigan’s radio show.
            He was described as an "undeniably talented songwriter“ by the Irish Times. He current-
            ly has two albums recorded but yet to be released and is booked for an extensive tour
            schedule for 2020.
            The month-long OOrriiggiinn  11sstt  IIrriisshh  TThheeaattrree  FFeessttiivvaall, the world’s only festival devoted to pro-
            ducing the plays of contemporary Irish playwrights from around the world, runs four
            weeks from January 7 to February 3, 2020.
            A total 15 events, including seven mainstage productions from Belfast, Dublin, Wexford,
            and Manhattan and Queens, will be seen in- and out-of-competition.  Among the pro-
            ductions, three are American premieres; two are world premieres. Fifteen contemporary
            Irish writers are represented with work in the Festival.
            Origin 1st Irish 2020 takes place in a number of distinguished venues across New York
